Joe Ashkar has shut it down permanently (as far as he's concerned).

Too much work involved? I am only asking, as I have no idea what is involved with running this list, or any other.

I have been in touch with Joe. We may be able to do something about this, but it will take time, and it may require a team effort.
Regarding the amount of work, Gregg, it can be quite a bit. It really depends on how good the listserv software is at resolving its own problems. I have no idea how many active subscribers were on the list, but a big list can also use quite a bit of cpu and bandwidth, and keeping the subsciption list "clean" to avoid bounces or retries to invalid addresses is necessary in order to keep that stuff under control.
