I'm working on setting up a consolidated RSS feed for all Lotusphere bloggers, like I did last year. I've got it set up, and I've seeded it with the feeds from 60 bloggers (Update: the count is now over 70) whom I have reason to believe will be attending. I included names and feeds of people I know will be there, plus names and feeds from the BloggingFromLotusphere page of Ben Poole's Lotusphere 2006 Wiki, plus Lotusphere 2006 frappr group whom I recognized as bloggers. I'll be cross-checking against Ben's Lotusphere 2006 Agenda Database a little later, but I wanted to get the word out sooner rather than later.

To check whether you're on my list of Lotusphere 2006 bloggers, click here, and let me know if you're on the list and shouldn't be, or vice versa.

Anyone can subscribe to the consolidated feed for all Lotusphere 2006 bloggers with this URL:

http://smokey.rhs.com/web/bloggregate/v2beta1.nsf/feed.rss?OpenAgent&category=Lotusphere%202006&count=50

BTW: I know that many of you will have immediatedly noticed the URL structure. Please be nice and don't raise the &count argument to too high a number, as it really stresses my server if you do. Also, please note that this feed will be enabled for approximately two weeks, and then it will go away. There are still people hitting my server with last year's URL. Quite frequently as a matter of fact.

If you don't have a blog reader, and you don't want to have one, but you want to follow the news from Lotusphere, never fear! You can browse all the feeds interactively from one reasonbly convenient and mostly functional web page. (Update: apparently this works only in Firefox, not IE, and I haven't had time to figure out why). The one missing feature that I wish were there, but can't provide due to the excessive server load, is the "All" selection in the dropdown where you select the specific feeds. This application will remain up, by the way, for an indeterminate time after Lotusphere. (Update: If you tried this and got a login prompt, the problem has now been fixed.)

Richard, unfortunately I won't be at Lotusphere but access to this consolidated feed will really help! Thank you.

Suggestion: Add the 'source' tag to the consolidated rss feed. I see you use the rss 2.0 format on the feed. The source tag is documented here: http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss#ltsourcegtSubelementOfLtitemgt

Some advanced RSS readers might use this, and handle better if both this consolidated feed is used, and some of the original feeds at the same time.

@5: Thanks for the reference. Will consider adding that. Shouldn't be too hard to do, if I can find a few spare minutes.
