A Bit Of A Lump In The Throat Many of you probably know that Warren Zevon, singer-songwriter of such classic songs as Werewolves of London, Lawyers Guns and Money, Excitable Boy, Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, and quite a few others, was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer last year. Well, I just heard a cut from his upcoming, and presumably final, album on the radio. It was a cover -- and a very good one IMHO -- of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door".
