A Truly Unfortunate Ad Placement While browsing through the New York Times site today, I brought up an article about anti-semitic acts along with an advertisement for a film that some claim is anti-semitic: A refresh brought up a different ad, so I know that there was nothing intentional involved, but most people reading the Times site wouldn't know that. Given that many people might interpret this placement as inflammatory (viewed from either side), shouldn't the Times have mechanisms in place to prevent certain ads from showing with certain types of stories?
