Article About The Evolution Of Social Software

A tip from IBM's Alan Lepofsky brought me to Life With Alacrity's retrospective on the term and the technology of Social Software. I wouldn't call it definitive, but it's definitely worth a read.

Update: I've posted a comment on that story, mentioning the role of PLATO Notes, and linking to the David Wooley article which was source material for an article I wrote for the WALNUT newsletter in 1994 (not on-line anywhere, but I might be able to dig it up from my archives), and was also used as source material for LDD's page on the history of Notes.
