BlogMatcher A good way, perhaps, to get connected to the larger blogging community may be to get your blog indexed by BlogMatcher. If you do this, when other bloggers who share interests with you enter their own blogs into BlogMatcher's main search page, they may find you.
The match appears to be made on the basis of commonality of links. If you and Joe RandomBlogger both link to a lot of the same sites, presumably you share some interests. Joe will find you with his search. You, likewise, will find Joe (if he has submitted his site to for indexing by BlogMatcher.
