Eolas Patent Well On Its Way To Being Overturned

The Eolas patent on "Distributed hypermedia method for automatically invoking external application providing interaction and display of embedded objects within a hypermedia document", which Ray Ozzie convincingly demonstrated should be invalidated because Notes R3 is prior art, is now just one step away from being overturned. Of course, it will probably be appealed for a couple of more years, but it's good to see that the USPTO is doing the right thing.
