Further Analysis Of The Microsoft Sender ID Patent A few days ago, I posted his analysis. He analyzes two applications, whereas I only analyzed one. I was unaware of the second application, which although it's primary intent is to cover Microsoft's proposal for a "computational tax", it makes even more broad than the first application and is the more worrisome of the two. His analysis of the first application seems to be very consistent with my own. We both focused most of our attention on the same specific claims. Anyhow, I've been holding off on posting part three of my series about Bill Gates and spam because I wanted to catch up on this intellectual property brouhaha and modify some of my thoughts accordingly. I think I'm caught up now, so completing the series is getting bumped up on my list, right behind releasing bloggregator.
