Join Me For A Presentation At IBM Waltham, MA, Wednesday Evening

NEW ENGLAND NOTES DOMINO SIG
http://www.seneschal.com/nenotes

Meetings held at IBM's Waltham Office
IBM Solution Partnership Center - East
404 Wyman Street (NORTH Entrance)
Waltham, MA

Wednesday, September 8, 2004 7:00pm-9:15pm

MEETING TOPIC:
Social Software: Fad Or Business Tool For Domino Users? Social Software emphasizes bottom-up relationship building, in order to promote collaboration in a way that more closely mirrors the way people interact when they are face to face. Blogs and RSS feeds, Wiskis and Social Networking Systems are some of the popular Social Software tools. This session explores the uses of these tools in Intranet and Extranet collaboration. Domino-based implementations of various Social Software tools will be demonstrated, and their potential business value in specific will be discussed.

Most of us know Richard as a founding member of the Penumbra Group and winner of the Lotus Business Partners' Beacon Award for the Most Significant Contribution to the Lotus Notes Community. Others of us know about Richard's contributions to publications in the Notes and Domino area. Come join us for an interesting presentation.

AGENDA:

8:45 ANNOUNCEMENTS
8:50 CLINIC - Q&A -- Bring your Lotus Notes & Domino questions and we'll share answers and problems.
