Kid Blogs

I know that a lot of you are parents of young children, just like me. I know that my older daughter wants to have a web site of her own. She's 12. I've been thinking that putting up a blog for her on my server might be a good way to do this. Much less to teach her... not that it would be a problem for her to learn to use Front Page (I have the license with my Microsoft Action Pack subscription... otherwise I'd have said DreamWeaver to make myself sound more cool!), or even to code some simple HTML by hand... but who has the time? And I'm not talking about me. I'm talking about my daughter. With six days a week of dance, plus voice lessons, rehearsals for shows, not to mention school and homework, she's busy enough already. So, who thinks its a reasonable idea to give a young teenage girl a blog of her own?

Part 2: I'm especially interested in hearing, by the way, from any of you who have used more than one blogging tool. I use FreeDom Blog. Are any of the other blog templates for Domino significantly easier to use? One of the reasons I'm asking is that it seems to me that I see people who use some of the other templates making more extensive use of graphics than people who use FreeDom Blog. Do the other templates include a more automated way of adding graphics into stories?

And BTW: people who use non-Domino blog tools... feel free to add your two cents, too.
