NH Primary Update: Polled Again I was phone-polled yesterday. This time I said I was leaning toward General Wesley Clark. Odd, because he's still the (serious) candidate that I really know the least about. I'm hoping that I'll have time to get to one of his campaign events this week to learn more. He's holding several in towns in this area over the next few days. I could still swing to Kerry, but after hearing the audio of the Iowa debate last weekend (while driving home from a meeting in update New York with my Lotusphere co-speaker Dieter Stalder), I've pretty much ruled out the rest of the field. To be honest, I was most impressed in that debate by Carol Mosely-Braun, but she's not enough of a true contender to get my vote. Lieberman was on my short list until that debate, but I didn't like the tone of several of his answers. He seemed to be offering up only righteous disbelief that Dean disagreed with him, rather than reasoned argument. Gephardt did come off pretty well in the debate, but not enough to overcome my feeling that his congressional record from the last few years shows that his leadership qualities aren't quite up to what I want in a President. Update: A canvasser for General Clark just called to invite me to attend one of the very events that I was already thinking of attending.
