NYC Visit - Final Tally

I'm on my way home now. Spent the night in Massachusetts visiting my wife at the summer camp where she's working. During the stay in midtown Manhattan, I connected from six different Starbucks, all within a ten minute walk from my hotel. There were a few others that I never got to try, due to lack of seating at the time I was passing by. My favorite was definitely the one in Columbus Circle, the very first one I tried. They have the comfy chairs and the power outlets, and the lines for my venti unsweetened iced black tea were pretty reasonable. As for the diet, well... I haven't stepped on a scale yet, so I can't say how I did on this trip yet. I think I managed to keep the carbs down to a fairly low level even though I did break the rules several times, and I did get a lot of walking exercise.

Despite having reasonbly good connectivity options during the time that I was waiting through my daughter's dance classes, I still fell pretty far behind in my blog reading. I've got more than 600 unread in my bloggregator database at the moment. It will probably take quite a few days to catch up.
