New washer and dryer coming.

The washing machine broke a belt. Second time in two months. Something else is clearly causing excessive wear. The dryer has been really struggling to actually dry the clothes for more than a year. They're both 19 years old, so it's time to replace them! The installers are coming in the morning. I've managed to clear enough space in the laundry room to move the machines in and out of place. Now I'm working on clearing a path through the garage and the hallway so the new machines can actually get into the house. It's a good excuse to do some real cleaning up. My wife (a professional pack-rat, who never throws anything away) and kids (taking after their mother) are away, so there's nobody to stop me. Bwahahahahaha! Five large trash bags already at the curb, and more coming!
