Three More Hours Of Canvassing Tonight After attending to family matters for the late afternoon and early evening, I went back to work for the Kerry campaign starting at around 9:30 PM. New Hampshire is dead even in the latest polls shown on electoral-vote.com, so I wanted to add to the canvassing I did earlier in the day. About 110 families in the neighborhood adjacent to mine here in Nashua will wake up to find a Kerry Edwards card hanging on their doorknob. By the way, the poll site that I linked to above, which I believe I initially found via a link from Ben is currently showing Kerry with a 298 to 231 electoral vote lead based on the most recent poll in each state, but Bush with a 283 to 248 electoral vote lead based on an average of polls conducted over a three day window looking back from the most recent poll in each state. Because different polls use different methodologies, it is too simplistic to say that this is showing that Kerry has momentum behind him going into election day, but I'm hopeful.
One last note: the "votemaster" of the electoral vote site has finally identified himself: Professor Andrew Tanenbaun of Virje Universiteit in Amsterdam. It turns out that I own several of his books.
