I am Richard Schwartz, and this is my Web Log. Computer folks are notorious for abbreviating things. That's why we say "Blog" instead of "Web Log".

I am a founder of RHS Consulting Inc., which is located in Nashua, NH, USA. I use this blog to record some of my opinions, experiences, and anything else I feel like putting in here for people to see. Why? Lots of people have started blogging lately, and there's a lot of buzz going around about how blogs and other "social software" are an important new approach to computerized workgroup collaboration. I've spent most of the last ten years in the business of advising companies about collaboration technology and helping them implement collaborative computing environments, so it seems like this is a technology that I should try to understand. And I firmly believe that there is no better way to understand a new technology than to just dive in and use it.
